No more soccer!!

Soccer is officially over. Keiffer and Becca both played this year so since the beginning of March I have been driving all over Provo three to four days a week. Keiffer had games on Tuesdays and Saturdays and practices on Thursdays. Becca had games on Wednesdays and Saturdays and practices on Tuesdays. The games were after school through dinner time during the week and in the morning on Saturdays. Am I a bad mom 'cause I didn't make it to every game (let alone the practices)? Well, at least the kids were there, even if I wasn't. Becca's coach was our friend and neighbor up the street so I was able to call and get them to take her if I couldn't go(or didn't feel like going). In my defense, we have had a really cold and wet spring and sometimes I didn't want to take Giulia and the other small kids out in the cold.

Keiffer is doing really well this year. He is really starting to get the idea of how to play as a team. They did great. They were 7-0-1. The last game was the one they tied and it was really hard fought. Becca's team was not so lucky. The ended up 2-6-0. Their last game only 2 girls from the other team showed up so they forfeited. Becca's team just scrimaged and had fun.

Next year we will probably have 3 soccer players. Camilla has said several times that she wants to play as well. Luckily, first and second grades play on the same team so I would still only have 2 sets of games and practices since Becca will be in 2nd grade and Camilla in 1st.

I am now officially a soccer mom!
